More about state unemployment insurance in Illinois.

It looks like I can’t make estimated unemployment insurance payments every two weeks as I have been doing. My last payment I submitted to quarter 3 on accident… I sent them an email asking when quarter 4 will be available, so that I can start submitting payments to it.

I would prefer to do all of the estimated payments at once, but it looks like that will have to be a monthly or maybe even quarterly thing.

Edit: I received a response from TaxNet about my issue with unemployment payments.
“The 4th quarter becomes available approximately November 16. Way before the 4th quarter ends on 12/31/08, with the report and/or payment not being due until the end of January 2009. Plenty of time to properly and effectively report and pay.”

So I can start making quarter 4 payments in about 10 days. Not too bad…
